Katherine
(Taffy) Stembridge Norris was born and educated in Milledgeville, GA.
She received a degree from Georgia College and State University
(formerly The Woman's College of Georgia) and continued her studies in
art at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Ms. Norris has studied with some of our
Nation's finest and most
accomplished artists over the past 25 years including workshops and
master classes with the following: Burton Silverman, Daniel Greene,
Marc Chatov, Gregg Kreutz, Brian Stewart, Ken Backhaus, Joan Potter,
Kathleen Gallagher, Jeannie Maddox, Joseph Perrin, Stan Strickland, and
Mary Ann Currier. Ms. Norris is active in many organizations
including the American
Society of Portrait Artists, Southeastern Pastel Society, Atlanta
Artists Club, Portrait Society of Atlanta, and the Plein Air Painters
of Georgia. |
