Lynda McMorris has loved drawing since her childhood in Decatur, Georgia. She took art classes all through highschool, and graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, and later earned a Master of Fine Art degree from the University of Georgia. She continued her art studies at the Art Students' League of New York under the teaching of classical artist, David Laffel. She has taken workshops from several nationally acclaimed landscape artists including, Scott Christensen, Kim English, Gay Faulkenberry, Matt Smith, and Don Ward. She is also an award winning portrait artist.
