| Each
painting I do takes me on a new journey. Whether it is a
landscape, still life or portrail, I get to escape to another place and
time. I find myself arriving there, slowly but
deliberately as if I know it always existed, but has yet to be
discovered. I especially enjoy the challenge of plein air printing. Facing nature with nothing but brushes, paint and canvas will really put you in your place. Recording her bearty for all time and allowing others to see with your eyes are a privelege that all artists share. |
